About Us
Our purpose as a church is to share the joy of growing, giving, and living in Christ's love.

We started with the children. There was a Lutheran presence in the Kenner area as early as 1953 when members of the local National Lutheran Council living in the area held Sunday School and VBS in a borrowed double garage.

Our community is older, too, calling on the early teachings of Jesus and the apostles. And we're ever changing. We call on ancient traditions and current practices to enliven our faith lives. We collaborate on music that is both emerging and was written centuries ago.

We believe in loving God and our neighbors we are part of God's Work with Our Hands.
