Come, share the joy of growing, living and giving in Christ’s love at Christ the King.  That’s the mission this ELCA congregation of 580 baptized members with an average attendance of over 200 at its three weekly worship services.

Mission CTK seeks to “share the joy of growing, living and giving in Christ’s love” as a worshipping, caring, spiritually maturing, discipling, family of Christian faith and faithfulness.

Worship
• “My Soul Magnifies the Lord, and my Spirit Rejoices in God my Savior!” Those words from Mary’s song in Luke 1 convey the spirit in which CTK gathers for worship, inviting everyone to come and “share the joy” so that we can be better equipped to live and share our faith in the world.

• In worship the good news of God’s love and will is proclaimed as we share God’s Word in preaching, and singing, lift up our hearts in prayer, bear witness to our faith, and receive God’s greatest gift, the gift of Himself, in Holy Communion.

• Christ the King welcomes all the baptized to Holy Communion, regardless of denomination or affiliation. Children who do not yet commune receive a blessing at the communion rail.

Power Hour Sunday School – Sundays 9:15-10:15 AM
Helping each other to know and live out God’s Word in every day life is one of the main purposes CTK offers “POWER HOUR” Sunday School  - “Power” as in God’s Power to renew, restore, call to faith and guide our lives through His word. We offer classes for elementary through adults.

• CHILDREN & YOUTH: Child and youth classes start with toddlers and continue through our high school discussion group.

• ADULT FORUM: Explore the Bible and its meaning in our daily lives.
