Social Ministry
is responsible for providing comfort and support to members while they are going through difficult times such as illness or death of a loved one. The Ministry just finished shipping 15 boxes filled with Mardi Gras supplies and trinkets to the LA National Guardsmen and Women stationed in Iraq. 
We support cancer patients' families at kenner Ochsner by fulfilling some of their needs, praying with them, and/or simply sitting and listening. In 2008, Social Ministry organized, prepared and served food to Baton Rouge residents after Hurricane Gustav. In addition, we hosted a food drive to benefit the residents of Chauvin, LA also devastated by Hurricane Gustav. We have a continuous food drive to benefit the Kenner Food Bank. Social Ministry is always changing to meet the needs of our members and community.
